How Off The Grid item pricing works

Every cosmetic in Off The Grid — weapons, apparel, cyberlimbs — is an NFT on the GUNZ blockchain. That means real ownership, real trading, and real prices. Here's how the market actually works.

Prices are in GUN

OTG items trade in GUN, the native token of the GUNZ chain. When you see a listing at "1,500 GUN," that's the on-chain price. OTG Shark converts to USD using the live GUN rate so you can sanity-check what you're paying in real money. Watch the GUN price itself — when GUN dips, everything gets cheaper in dollar terms even if GUN prices don't move.

Floor price is the number that matters

The floor is the cheapest active listing for an item or set. It's the market's consensus "this is what it's worth right now." Most items trade within a tight band around the floor; listings far above it sit unsold. OTG Shark tracks the floor for every set so you can see at a glance what's cheap and what's not.

What moves prices

Where the data comes from

OTG Shark reads live listings and sales from OpenSea's API on the GUNZ chain, plus completed in-game marketplace sales on-chain. The market page aggregates it all: floor trends, sales activity, and 24-hour volume. One caveat: Gunzilla keeps in-game listing data in their private backend, so listed counts for in-game items aren't publicly available — sales are.

Finding deals

Deals are listings priced meaningfully below recent sales or the floor trend — mispriced listings, impatient sellers, auctions ending quietly. OTG Shark surfaces them on the deals page, scored against real market data. The fastest way to catch one is a snipe alert: set your target price and get pinged the moment a matching listing appears.

The short version

Buy the floor, not the hype. Price full sets before buying pieces. Watch GUN itself, not just item prices. And set alerts — the best deals last minutes, not days.

Put it into practice. Browse live listings, track the market, or set your first snipe alert.
